This week’s “Museum Feature of the Week”, is a telegraph! Located in our Enfield Station, our telegraph is set up to demonstrate the use and purpose of a telegraph system. Our school groups sure do love it when our tour guides demonstrate Morse code using our telegraph.
Our model operates off a 6v battery and has two different style of sending units. The receiving transmitter has a tin can attached which acts as a simple sound amplifier for the system.
