The Galen Cole Family Foundation provides a scholarship fund for the Husson University School of Education. The Galen Cole Family Foundation strives “to challenge our young people and help build their aspirations … to believe that … they also can become creative doers and builders of a bright future for themselves, their communities and their fellow man.” Several scholarships of $3,000 each are available to education majors.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Matriculated at Husson University (Bangor)
- Enrolled in a degree leading to teacher certification and will continue enrollment as an undergraduate in 2023-24.
- Sophomore standing or higher
- Minimum GPA ≥ 3.00
- Demonstrated financial need through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Scholarship recipients are expected to sign the Galen Cole Family Foundation Education Scholarship Agreement form. For priority consideration, please submit your completed scholarship application by April 30, 2023.
